a Hummer H1, but scaled down in size. It makes for a very unique
looking Jeep. There are all sorts of accessories for Jeeps out
there from spare tire covers, wheels, tops, lights and lots more,
but a full change of the body is a sure way to make your Jeep
unique. Add a bright paint color and a 5.3L 'LS' engine under the
hood, and you've got yourself a very unique Jeep. The set of
vertical openings which make up a grille area, framed by headlights
at the front isn't the only change to the body. Box fenders at the
front and rear have a look similar to an early BMW M3, especially
with the smooth section between. The hood/front fender section is
one piece that cants forward to expose the engine. It makes for
easy access to the engine and front suspension. Not only is this a
lifted Jeep that features a unique body, it's painted in a bright
orange color that makes it hard to miss. The paint is in great
condition - it's even and glossy throughout. The Outland soft-top
also shows well with windows that are clean and clear, and is free
of tears. Just like the exterior, the interior is full of custom
touches. The bright orange color from the exterior has been carried
over to the dashboard, while a truck bed-liner spray coats the
floors. 'CJ' embossed high back bucket seats are mounted on either
side of the custom metal center section of the dashboard. The
dashboard now houses all the gauges in the center, other than the
tach that is mounted up near the A-pillar on the roll cage. The
gauges are neatly laid out and evenly spaced. A stereo is mounted
at the lower portion of the center dashboard which meets up with
the custom center console. In the console is a B&M shifter, and
selectors for the 4 wheel drive system. A standard bench back seat
is mounted at the rear, which has nice upholstery just like the
front seats. The engine is a 5.3L Vortec V8 pulled from a 2002
Chevy Avalanche that had 51k miles on it. As you would expect, a
whole lot of custom work was done to make the Avalanche drivetrain
fit in the Jeep. A full binder of receipts accompanies the Jeep
which show all the parts and work that has been done. Highlights
under this Jeep are Bilstein shocks, Rancho Steering Stabilizer,
polyurethane bushings, and a custom exhaust. The 15-inch black
wheels are wrapped in 33 Toyo All Terrain tires. Rugged looks
reminiscent of the Hummer H1, a bright paint color, custom
interior, and a V8 under the hood are just a few of the great
attributes of this custom Jeep. It's a truly unique CJ with power
under the hood to back up the tough looks. Ready for the trail, or
a cruise through town, this Jeep is sure to turn heads and get you
wherever you want to go. Be sure to check out all the photos and
