But it's more than just uniqueness that attracted you to this one.
The factory black is a deep modern clearcoat, and that sets the
tone right for a mean machine like this. You will find signs of
enjoyment in a few places, but that's part of owning a Saleen. It's
supposed to get out of the garage and have some fun. But it's also
not an arbitrary toy. That's why the car has averaged less than
1,500 miles annually, and the pictures prove how the car has
overall clean lines and a beautiful shine. Plus, all the
Saleen-specific body modifications are finished in a slick black,
too. This includes a new front fascia, lower rocker moldings,
integrated rear wing, and a special rear bumper with center dual
exhaust. So in total, you have a great midnight package. Even the
details are aggressive, like the deeply sculpted heat extractor
hood. But the overall presentation will never slip through the

car #152 reminds you that this was made from a small batch, it's
important to note that there were only eight six-speed Saleen SCs

Inside, this modern custom classic gives you all the convenience of

mirrors, power steering, dual airbags, and factory AM/FM/CD changer

machine, you get a grippy leather bucket seat finished in an
exclusive two-tone dark pattern. Yours even power adjusts to your
ideal position. The Mustang sports steering wheel feels great in

of the dash are important for the upgrade under the hood.
The "SC" in this car's designation is quite significant. It took
the original 4.6-liter V8 and added a twin-screw supercharger on
top. Fans of these cars know that the 2004 model got the important
Saleen Series IV supercharger. It makes for a more powerful package
than previous years with 375 hp and 415 lb-ft or torque. And
because you have more power in this pony car, it just seems right
to have the rare upgrade to the T-56 six-speed manual transmission
to take full advantage of it all. Plus, Saleens always excel in the
handling department, and the S281 package got a comprehensive
Racecraft suspension upgrade that includes new springs, struts, and
a larger front sway bar. Combine this with the 13-inch brake kit
upgrade for the four-wheel power disc brakes and Pirelli rubber to
make sure this is an all-around enhanced performance
