Alfa Romeo Alfetta Sports Sedan. The car underwent a complete body
8 month restoration, windows out, no rust, all original car by a
local Professional body shop. The finish 5 coats of Argento
[Silver] exterior was a perfect complement to the Custom full Cuio
tan leather interior with contrasting gray piping that was
professionally recently redone.
The original owner was an elderly Italian man from North
Minneapolis who took exceptional care of his car to the point where
the car had never been driven in rain nor snow!
The current owner has only driven the car aprox. 449 miles since it
was bought in, 2009, and put it safe storage for 2 years. The
current owner is president of a Alfa Romeo Owners Club. The current
owner then brought it home to his climate controlled garage and
every time he drove it it was dry outside, staying true to original
owners strict rules 'No Rain'. No rain or snow exposure on this 42
year old, rust free Italian beauty.
The 2.0L 4 cylinder engine runs excellent and the 5 speed manual
transmission functions as it should. Recent mechanical
refurbishing, includes the whole fuel system from tank to
completely rebuilt Del'Lorto carburetors, using original parts
imported from Germany, correct fuel pressure pump, installing
toggle switch to power the fuel pump reliably -as a work around,
for an ignition that can not be replaced.
