Highly Original 1966 Ford Mustang Hardtop Coupe
New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful, eye-catching 1966
Ford Mustang 2 Door Hardtop Coupe with teal exterior paint and a
cream vinyl interior. This highly original and sought after classic
features a "C-code", 289 cid V-8 engine with a two barrel
carburetor, a new radiator, factory air conditioning, power
steering, and an automatic transmission. The current owner informs
us that the 76,600 miles on the odometer is believed to be original
lifetime miles as well.
Excellent Overall Condition w/ Great Documentation
This 1966 Ford Mustang Hardtop Coupe started its life as a
Springtime Yellow example with the same configuration you see
above. Other than the color change, this appears to be a highly
original example as well with excellent documentation going back
decades. The current owner has enjoyed it since 2019 and recently
installed new carpeting to match the condition of the rest of this
classic; the exterior is near flawless with excellent body lines,
shimmering paint and very nice trim all the way around. The
interior, engine and trunk compartment also present nicely with
very few imperfections to be found.
Additionally, this 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe performs excellent on
the open road with nice acceleration, smooth handling and just a
great overall feel. We believe the drivetrain to be original to
this classic as well as the factory A/C and other accessories. It
is one of the more impressive examples we've come across this year
within this price range and it's being offered conservatively due
to the current owner relocating outside of the United States. This
beautiful hardtop will find a new home quickly and it needs nothing
to be enjoyed right away.
