This Corvette is finished in Dark Gray Metallic with red leather
reclining seats and red ostrich trim from Al Knoch Interiors. The
car, which sports a red Stinger scooped hood, was rebuilt several
years ago using all-original body panels, and is powered by a GM
Performance 525hp 6.2-liter LS3 engine. The LS3 is complemented by
a TREMEC TKO600 5-speed manual transmission with a special .64
overdrive 5th gear and a hydraulic clutch. It features a Jim Meyer
Racing tubular A-arm front suspension with QA1 shocks and
adjustable coilovers, rack & pinion steering and Vintage Air, with
a Vintage Air front runner belt drive system. Ceramic-coated
headers with polished 3-inch stainless-steel exhaust and MagnaFlow
stainless polished mufflers are built into a custom side exhaust
system that comes through the body in front of the rear wheels.
Engine cooling is provided by a Be Cool polished-aluminum radiator
with an electric fan. A custom polished-aluminum Currie Ford 9-inch
rear housing with a 4-link and Panhard bar, aluminum Currie third
member with Truetrac posi-traction with 3.90 gears, and shortened
Dutchman axles complete the package. It's also equipped with power
windows and an electric-powered hood. The Wilwood power brakes have
6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston in the rear with custom
drilled and slotted rotors, as well as an E-brake with super
dampener. A Flaming River tilt steering column provides control and
responsiveness. The interior features a custom dash with red-lit
Dakota Digital custom gauges, custom center console with
touchscreen monitor, DVD receiver, Bluetooth and USB interface.
It's also equipped with a Painless complete wiring system, custom
headlights, 20-inch Budnik wheels, a black Stayfast soft-top and
the trunk is completely trimmed out in red ostrich with a subwoofer
and amplifier.
