Vehicle Description
This 1971 Chevrolet C10 is a very cool representation of a nicely
restored pickup. It gives you a great two-tone, terrific A/C
interior, and a powerful big block. And because it's a long bed
pickup, they also make the right investments to made sure it still
can get the job done, too.
Hugger Orange and white are terrific on a classic. It takes one of
Chevy's most iconic colors and layers in a creamy finish in-between
so that it looks both sporty and vintage - all in the first glance.
And they invested in far more than just a quality paint job. The
full-length side trim has a premium wood-like finish. It not only
provides a distinct dividing line for much of the two-tone, but
also it highlights the crispness of the body panels. The same
quality can be seen on details like the new headlights and pliable
weather-stripping. The bumpers have a terrific shine, and don't you
just love how the rear one is notched for the dual exhaust? It's
part of this truck's upgraded sporty style, and so are the American
Racing polished wheels. And as you look in the bed you can see it's
protected by fresh liner paint. So it looks good today, and it will
continue to be stylish even after future Home Depot runs.
Just like the exterior, the interior received nice investments to
keep feeling fresh. This is especially true on the bench seat with
classic Chevy houndstooth cloth inserts. Another great classic
piece that's looking fresh are the door panels with premium
Cheyenne western-style pattern embossed in them. A soft dash pad,
good carpeting, and a new headliner round-out a solid package. This
classic wants to be a comfortable modern driver, and so you have
features such as a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with USB input and cold
blowing air conditioning. Plus, the Grant sports steering wheel is
both stylish and gives you a commanding feel.
The engine bay has the look of fresh investments, right down to
fundamentals like the hoses, wires, alternator, and fan. And at the
center is a terrific big block. This 402 cubic-inch V8 inhales
deeply with a Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales from
headers that add power while also contributing to the rumble of the
dual exhaust. It's a big power setup, and so the TH400 three-speed
automatic transmission is the ideal pairing for strong and smooth
operation. This feeds a strong 12-bolt rear end. More than just
stout, this has nice cruising features, like a power steering,
power brakes w/discs up front, wide BF Goodrich T/A tires, and the
C10's desirable trailing arm rear suspension.
Complete with maintenance records, this is classic C10 that has
been given love in all the right places. So it's your time to love
