This 1948 Buick Model 56-C Super convertible is powered by a 248ci
8-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. Fully
restored and out of a long-term ownership, this car has been fully
inspected and serviced. It has a power convertible top, power
windows and radio. This car was owned by a noted collector for many
years and was fully restored. It was driven and maintained by the
collection management team and it still looks the part of a
well-restored car. The paint and trim are in good condition. There
is slight old pitting noted on the rear window lower trim that has
been re-chromed since. Aside from those two pieces, all of the trim
is nice. The interior is correctly restored - all of the controls
and instruments work, the seats are firm with the correct pattern
and the door panels and roof liner are also fresh in appearance.
The Super starts quickly on its original gas pedal starter and
idles silently. The brakes and clutch are strong and reliable. The
trunk area is clean and holds the spare and jack.
