The powerplant in our Mustang is a C-Code, verified by the Vin number, 289 V8 engine that was rated at 200 horsepower from the factory and we believe it to be the original 289 motor with original C4 3 speed automatic transmission. It has power steering brakes, and A/C to make for some add comfort.

This Mustang drives fantastically and is mechanically sound just as when it was new in 1966.

It has mostly the stock factory look with the factory intake, valve covers, blue Ford painted air cleaner, cross bar and shock tower brace, with all sitting in a clean and detailed engine compartment.

Interior

The interior is in incredible shape and has the optional two-tone teal Pony bucket seats with the matching rear seats, the shifter on the floor in the factory console, teal headliner, visors, dash and two-tone door panels are great as is the beautiful three spoke steering wheel, radio and gauges, brand new teal carpeting, and the trunk is nicely finished off with the grey plaid mat.

Exterior

This Mustang is incredibly clean and well detailed inside and out. It has a beautiful brand new paint job in Tahoe Turquoise and all the body panels look right as well as the chrome bumpers and trim, Mustang and 289 emblem. The paint job also had a 3-Year ceramic coating applied to it and boy does it shine and looks great.

It rides on factory wheels with factory Mustang hub caps and blackwall tires that fit this first-generation Mustang very well and the chassis is very clean and it sounds good too with the dual exhaust underneath it.
