Genuine Super Sport as indicated right in the vin and on the cowl
tag. Original motor, trans, rear, colors and options. It comes with
a pile of receipts. I read them and it looks like the owner spent a
year getting this car dialed in. The car was already restored but
he worked on the little things that make a difference. Everything
from making the horns work to making sure the battery is properly
secured.
EXTERIOR: Double D paint code- Mist blue upper and lower without a
vinyl top. The body is real straight and smooth. I don't see any
rust or damage. It has a very glossy clearcoat finish. The chrome
and trim looks new. Upfront the bumper is new, the grill, bezels,
lenses and emblems look new. The hood spear is new. All the trim
around the wheel wells, rocker moldings, around the windows and
gutters are excellent. In back the tail panel looks like new,
bumper is new. The door jambs are painted real nice, weather strips
are replaced. The 15 inch rally wheels look new including the trim
and the BF Goodrich tires.
INTERIOR: Code 741 is medium blue bucket seat interior. It has the
Ultimate Chevelle interior kit from Ausley's Chevelle. It was lined
with sound deadener. The seats have new cushions and upholstery.
The door panels, armrests, window cranks are new. The metal is
painted and clear coated smooth and glossy. New chrome instrument
bezel, vents and trim. It has the factory gauge cluster, new
speedometer and clock. Steering wheel looks new. The headlight
dimmer, horn contacts, dome light, heater switch were replaced. New
carpet on the floor, new headliner and visors overhead. The SS
console is in excellent shape. In the glovebox is a new liner with
the manauls. It really is outstanding inside this car. It sparkles,
fits nice and functions right.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Show quality motor compartment. Every thing is
New wiper motor. Remanufactured a/c compressor. Master cylinder and
booster. It is detailed immaculately. All the metal finishes are
smooth satin black. The motor has a very clean Chevy orange paint
job. It has all the correct manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner,,
stickers. It even has the heat shields around the spark plugs,
proper choke components, new vacuum advance etc. The pulleys,
brackets, hinges, horns, wiper motor look like new. The squirters
are hooked up, it even has the glass bottle of fluid. The brake
booster is cadmium plated, new master. The power steering
components look new including the steering box. New battery tray,
battery hold down, cables and a reproduction battery topper. The
factory air conditioning was serviced, new compressor and updated
with R134 freon.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Absolutely spotless. Clean metal with a very
tidy coat of spatter paint. New mat, weatherstrip, decal. It has a
rally wheel for a spare and complete jack assembly.
UNDERSIDE: It is exceptionally clean under this one. Everything is
tidy and proper. Looking up at the motor it is a fresh Chevy
orange. The starter, flywheel cover, fuel pump look new. It has
correct canister type oil filter. The Powerglide trans was apart
and serviced. It has a new pump, trans lines and pan. New complete
shifter assembly. The original rear end has 3.36 gears and the
pinion seal was replaced. The front end has been gone through-
Control arm bushings, ball joint, shocks, sway bar bushings and end
links, Brakes were gone through, new shoes, hoses, e-brake cables.
New factory style dual exhaust system. The metal is very clean and
nicely painted.
