A sleek drop-top body, all the best modern amenities (including
A/C), an upgraded suspension, V8 power, overdrive, and so much more
make this 1937 Ford Cabriolet a dream car. So when it's time to be
sleeker, cooler, and all-around more memorable than the rest, you
know you've found your custom build.
The two-tone paint does a great job of highlighting the best of
this design. The radiating silver shows off the swoopy fender lines
we love so much. The black sticks to the upper portion, except when
it dips low to draw added attention to the iconic grille and sexy
curve of the trunk line. This one takes advantage of its later
fiberglass build to the fullest by being as sleek as possible with
deleted bumpers, shaved handles, and frenched taillights. The
result is a very modern-looking classic style. And just like any
good custom build, it has all the right touches to impress. You see
this in places like the full pinstriping in a bold purple, and the
Billet Specialties 17-inch wheels have a terrific bright
finish.
There's a great-looking one-piece cabriolet top that coordinates
with the upper black paint and can seal the car nicely against the
elements. But of course, this one looks even better with it
removed. There's a full black and gray package inside with
thoughtful details everywhere. You see it in the way the dash wraps
into the custom door panels, and you feel it in the supple leather
seats with diamond-stitched suede-like inserts. As with any good
custom build, there are plenty of modern conveniences for you and
your passengers. This includes power windows, power locks, remote
door openers, a power trunk latch, cup holders, and an AM/FM/CD
stereo with aux input. Plus, there's ice-cold air conditioning so
you can stay feeling cool while looking cool all-day long. The
driver gets a three-spoke steering wheel on a tilt column. Beyond
that is a full round gauge package set in a polished panel that
looks perfect in your retro ride.
The engine bay has a terrific smooth, tidy, and polished look that
you'll happily show off. There are even thoughtful little things,
like how the purple plug wires match the exterior pinstripe. But
what you'll really love is the substance this package provides.
It's a 350 cubic-inch small block upgraded with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and headers that feed the
rumbling dual exhaust. This motor fires up readily and runs
smoothly. And the four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive
adds to its anytime usability. Plus, with power steering, power
brakes w/discs up front, and a tubular A-arm independent front end,
this one knows how to take you near or far with ease.
This has the right look and the right features to enjoy all day and
turn heads while doing it. So don't miss your chance at this '37
