Concourse restored, body off frame. The detail is ridiculous. It
isn't your typical color combination but we really like it. It
stands apart from the others, it is refreshing. It also says I was
restored back to how I was born.
EXTERIOR: Just like it looked the day it was new except the fit and
finish is better! The body is absolute pristine with precision fit
body gaps. Every line is square and tight. The doors and trunk
close like a brand new car. It is straight as an arrow, smooth as
silk. The paint is polished everywhere painted like glass. The
jambs are painted just as smooth. Every piece of exterior chrome
and trim is show quality. New lenses. The white vinyl top really
makes the car lively, it's in mint shape. The glass is clear and
the windows roll amazingly easy. It has correct T-3 headlights. The
weather strips and window seals were replaced. The SS wheels are
upgraded to 15 inch and they have reproduction polyglass tires.
INTERIOR: Restored like brand new from carpet to headliner.
Everything seems to be working- all the interior lights, the radio
plays clearly, the clock is ticking. It is just like it left the
factory, the only thing upgraded are the SS floormats. The steering
wheel, vents, heater controls, mirror all look new. The seat belts
are very good original.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Vin number matching 396-350 hp motor. Every
component is restored and highly detailed. Factory correct down to
the assembly line markings and stickers. It features factory air
conditioning, power steering and power brakes. The air is upgraded
to R134 freon. The brake booster is cadmium plated. It has correct
hoses, clamps, spring clamp battery cables, spark plug wires etc.
The washer system is complete, it has correct heater control valve,
correct idle solenoid etc.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Perfectly clean metal with a very tidy coat of
spatter finish. It has new mat, weather strip, decals and wiring
harness. The spare is a pristine SS wheel with a new reproduction
Polyglass tire. The jack assembly is pristine. The trunk light
UNDERSIDE: Wow, amazing detail. The body was off the frame. The
chassis was completely disassembled, rebuilt and restored in it's
correct finishes. The assembly line markings and stickers were even
duplicated. It has the F-41 suspension which includes swaybars and
boxed rear control arms. The steering and suspension is all new, it
has correct spiral shocks. The brake system is completely new down
to the clips the hold the e-brake cables. It has disc brakes in
front. The fuel system is completely new, it even has the correct
paint stencil. The exhaust system is new and correct down to the
stencils on the mufflers and NOS tips. Looking up at the motor it
is spotless, new correct starter and fuel pump. The correct Turbo
400 automatic was restored. The driveshaft was restored and
detailed with correct stencils. The original 12 bolt, 3.31 posi
rear was restored and detailed with correct markings.
The fact is there are so many clone Chevelles out there, even with
fake documents and restamped numbers. I have to believe this car is
authentic. If a person goes through the effort of building a phoney
SS for profit they are going to deck it out with buckets, gauges,
it will be red or blue with stripes etc. This car is free, you are
paying for the restoration! Here is an opportunity to have one of
the best restored 70 Chevelle Super Sports in the country.
