Vehicle Description
This classic Corvette in located in Chattanooga, TN. Just in and Up
For Sale is this beautiful super numbers matching power-train 1967
Corvette Convertible. Here is the Story On This Corvette. A
Gentleman Always Wanted A 1967 Red Corvette Convertible. He Wanted
It Red with Black Leather Seats, Headrest, White Top, Teakwood
Steering Wheel, 4-Speed, With Side Exhaust, and Bolt-On Wheels with
Red Line Tires. However, He Could Not Find One That Was Either
Numbers Matching, Or Had A Super Good Body and Frame, or Had Low
Mileage. So, He Came Across This Corvette. Which Had The Numbers
Matching 327-300hp Engine, and Correct Transmission In It. It Also
Had The Side Exhaust and the Bolt-On Wheels On It. And, Yes, It Was
Low Mileage, and Had One Of The Finest Body And Frame That He Had
Ever Seen. However, It Was Goodwood Green, and it Did Not Have
Leather Seats In It with Headrest. But, It Was Close Enough, So He
Bought It, and Painted It Red, and Restored It, The Way He Wanted
His Corvette. Red with White Convertible Top, Black Leather Seats
with Headrest, Side Pipe Exhaust with Bolt-On Wheels with Red Line
Radial Tires. While He Was At It, He Went Ahead And Put Vintage A/C
On It, and Beefed Up The Original Engine To Right Around 350hp.
Now, We All Know That 1967 Was The Last Year For The Mid-Year
Corvette's. It Was the First Year For the Emergency Brake To Be On
The Console, and For The Back-Up Lights To Be Above the License
Plate. It Was Also the First Year For The Bolt-On Wheels. Now, In
My Opinion, The 1967 Corvette Is The Best Year For Resale, Because
It's The Last Year Of The Mid Years. And For Driving Sake, A Small
Block Weighs Less Than A Big Block, Which Makes For A Better
Driving and Handling Car.. No, I Am Not Saying That The Small Block
Will Bring More Than A Big Block, I'm Just Saying That If You Are
Looking For A Corvette To Drive A Lot, Then What Better Year Than
1967? What Better Color Combination Than Red With A White Top? What
Better Drive Line Than A Strong Running Numbers Matching 350hp
Small Block, With A 4-Speed To Boot? And, Yes, What Better Wheels
and Exhaust Could You Want? This Corvette Will Flat Out Scream, and
It Sounds Like A Big Block Coming At You. The Owner While Restoring
The Corvette, Went Ahead and Went Through The Complete Car. It Is
Super Sharp, and Ready To Go and Show! Look At The Pictures, and
Watch the Video. You Tell Me, If This Is Not The Ultimate Classic
Corvette. Inspections encouraged and welcomed by appointment.
