For Sale at Auction: 1982 Chevrolet C20 in Scottsdale, Arizona
This custom pickup was built over a one-year period during 2020.
The 1990 Mark IV 454ci V8 engine was rebuilt with hypereutectic
pistons, moly rings, stock rods, 9.75:1 compression and a Summit
Racing cam with .502/.501 lift and 218/228 duration. It is fed by
dual 20-gallon gas tanks and a Summit Racing 750 cfm carburetor,
and exhaust flows through stainless-steel headers, Summit mufflers
and a universal dual exhaust kit. Backing the engine is a standard
rebuilt TH400 automatic transmission. The driveshaft carrier
bearing was replaced, and the rear axle is stock C20 axle. Stopping
power is provided by stock front disc and rear drum brakes. The
suspension features 3-inch drop springs and 2-inch drop spindles up
front, and stock leaf spring with an axle flip and C-notched frame
out back. This custom pickup rides on 18x8 front and 20x14 rear
Detroit Steel Delray wheels with Nitto front tires and Mickey
Thompson rears. The restored factory-style interior features new
dash pad and door panels, stock gauges, restored factory air
conditioning and power windows, custom ABS headliner, overhead
speakers, Bluetooth-capable stereo with an under-seat 10-inch
subwoofer, and a professionally upholstered factory bench seat.
Exterior modifications include a custom-fabricated grille, smoked
roof running lights, shaved drip rails and trim, added fiberglass
dually fenders and a rear roll pan that replaces the rear bumper.
CARFAX shows potential odometer rollover on 06/09/2010.
