1963 Ford Galaxie XL 500 Convertible DGC1880. VIN. 6G69X101880 I'm
quite impressed with the condition of this car. I was told, but I
do not have proof, that it's an original 48,000 mile car. It has
original paint, original interior I'm not sure but it's very
possible it's the original top. The top is good but it is old and
showing some wear. Yes, there are some spots in the paint. The
chrome bumpers look really good for original. The interior is very
nice but the driver's seat has the seam separation. I can't believe
how smooth and quiet the 352 V-8 two barrel engine runs, it's super
smooth. The automatic transmission works great. The power brakes.
Power steering. Power top. Has the wire spinner hubcaps with
redline tires. It's a good looking car, long and flowing, and it
has fenders skirts. The interior is a deep red and the convertible
top is white. The other thing that is very interesting is that the
heater, radio and clock all work. The engine compartment is clean.
The trunk is clean and nice. I really like buying a car in this
kind of condition.
