"In the period of just two short years, Corvette had evolved from a
car that was facing the very serious threat of extinction to one
that showed real promise for a long and healthy life. While General
Motors still recorded only modest sales of the Chevrolet Corvette
in 1956, it was apparent to everyone that it was also beginning to
be taken seriously as a sports car. Even after the immense
structural, physical and mechanical facelift it received in 1956,
Corvette saw some major improvements in 1957."
This 1957 Chevrolet Corvette is the creation of a multi-year build
that has finally come to fruition. This Corvette now features a
period correct 327 cubic inch motor with solid lifters and dual
quads. This is all mated to a Richmond 6 speed manual transmission,
for drivability and safety this C-1 has 4-wheel disc brakes and
electronic ignition.
The interior features red leather seating, power windows, gauges by
Corvette Specialties and an updated AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo
system.
This Corvette is extremely well finished from the exterior to the
underside.
Put your foot on the gas and feel the dual quads kick in. With the
posi-traction rear end and 3.55 gears this car is a pleasure to
drive.
