We love our British cars and we also love our British motorcycles.
We don't buy or have many and in order to have one around it needs
to be special.... that leads us to this beautiful, unrestored,
untouched BSA Lightning. She's traveled just over 12,000 miles from
new and is just as the British Small Arms Factory-built her. For
the record, the engine vin shows that this bike is actually a 1966
build and is titled as a 68- pretty common back in the day- cars
and bikes back then got issued the first year they were sold.
Take a good look at the pictures they truly represent the condition
of the bike. Beautiful patina, gentle aging, and a wonderful warm,
welcoming, honest overall look prevail. If you are looking for that
re-chromed, repainted, re whatever bike they are out there but it
is not this bike. We bought this one for its originality and we
think it's wonderful just as it is.
Serviced by us including fluid changes, a new tach cable, and an
overall look over this great old BSA is ready for a rip down your
favorite winding road. All this one needs is a new
Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized
possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.
We stand behind our thoughts on this car by offering our travel
expenses guarantee- come see the car and if we have materially
misrepresented its condition we will gladly pay half of your travel
expenses up to $500.00- this offer had been in place since we sold
our first classic and we haven't paid the money yet.... We pride
ourselves on having good cars and representing them properly.
