Vehicle Description
Virtually everyone knows Chevrolet as one of Detroit's legendary
muscle car divisions. What they might not know is that the brand's
storied muscle car pedigree actually started when GM began mounting
hot small block power in plush people movers like this stylish 1955
210. The very definition of class, this pleasing pro-tourer wraps
striking blue and silver aesthetics around custom leather, a hot
LS3 and choice Art Morrison chassis upgrades. For fans of '50s
metal, it doesn't get much better than a tri-five Chevy. And if
you're an enthusiast who's itching for an all-American cruiser
that's sure to be the star of every show around, this sweet coupe
is your kind of classic!
BANNER COLORS FOR A BANNER BOWTIE
Built to turn heads and kick asphalt, this impressive Chevy is the
beneficiary of a detailed, ground-up restoration that layered solid
sheetmetal in professional e-coating, striking PPG metallic base
and glossy PPG clear. At the front of those svelte aesthetics, a
smoothed bumper guards a polished grille, stainless-trimmed parking
lamps and modern headlights. At the top of that grille, a
Chevrolet-branded hood floats a requisite Jetbird topper in front
of polished wipers and a stainless-trimmed 'post' greenhouse that's
finished with smoked glass. At the base of that restoration-fresh
glass, a crisp profile aligns traditional door handles with classy
"Chevrolet" scripts and ornate speed spears. And at the back of the
car, a second smoothed bumper reflects a trick tag frame, a second
Chevy crest and slick LED tail lamps.
PROVEN CHEVROLET POWER
Pop this 210's stylish hood and you'll find 6.2 liters of hot Chevy
small block that, like the car's restoration, is fully sorted and
ready to roll. Sourced from the pros at World Products, that
performance-proven mill utilizes aluminum construction, an Eagle
rotating assembly and CNC-ed LS3 heads to mix miles of thrills with
years of reliable cruising. Chromed air boxes, integrated remotely
into the car's trick core support, whip wind through chromed tubes
that are cinched to a polished throttle body. That reliable gate
feeds a chromed Street & Performance high rise intake that's juiced
by Holley electronic fuel injection. Chromed serpentine components
spin a color-keyed water pump between a chromed alternator and a
chromed AC compressor. There's a polished radiator that's fitted
with a polished expansion tank, a polished upper tube and a
stainless-trimmed puller fan. Short MSD plug wires join a Wilwood
master cylinder and color-keyed headers to detail an otherwise
purpose-built performer. And everything rides in a massaged engine
bay that's finished with trick dipsticks, a polished oil cap,
attractive Chevrolet valve covers and polished Eddie Motorsports
hood supports.
ART MORRISON CHEVROLET
Under the car, traditional tri-five bones have been supplemented
with sturdy Art Morrison chassis components that blend nicely with
factory frame rails. Those bones make excellent use of a modern
independent front-clip, which backs power-rack-and-pinion steering
with chromed control arms, adjustable coil-overs and a chromed sway
bar. That clip gets pushed by a sturdy 9-inch posi that, complete
with Moser axles, is fully integrated into a modern 4-bar rear-clip
that's finished with chromed links, a chromed sway bar and two more
adjustable coil-overs. Shifts get dealt by a 4L60E automatic
transmission, which utilizes a Performance Torque Converter to spin
a lightweight aluminum driveshaft. Stops are provided by polished
Wilwood calipers, which squeeze a total of 20 pistons around
drilled and slotted Wilwood rotors. Polished stainless pipes float
spent gases through polished Magnaflow mufflers while an electronic
fuel pump drains a stainless, 25-gallon tank. And the car sits low
and mean on polished Billet Specialties Turbines, which spin
225/40ZR18 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs in front of 275/35ZR20 Nitto
NT555 Extreme ZRs.
CHOICE CUSTOMIZATION
Open this Chevy's doors and you'll find a killer cockpit that
successfully mixes shades of custom leather thanks to the folks at
Holly Pond, Alabama's M&M Hot Rod Interiors. Front and center,
a gorgeous dash seats glowing Dakota Digital VHX telemetry next to
a digital clock and cool Vintage Air conditioning. Speaking of
seating, a quartet of plush buckets, cribbed from a modern GTO,
feature full power adjustment for the front two passengers.
Sculpted side panels point stylish billet handles in front of
power-operated windows. A custom console centers a simple Lokar
shifter and crisp Pioneer audio on plush carpet that's shaded by
billet foot pedals. The driver carves curves through a polished and
bowtie-branded steering wheel, which laps a polished, tilting
column. And the passenger's stow essentials in a custom-upholstered
trunk that's accessed via polished Eddie Motorsports deck
supports.
This slick Chevy is a super cool pro-tourer that'll easily be the
center of attention wherever it roams. With its smooth V8, athletic
chassis and tailored aesthetics, it represents the pinnacle of
American style both new and old. Looking for a top-notch classic to
enjoy for years to come? Your search is officially over!
