This 1956 Mercury Montclair custom coupe's PPG Dark Blue Metallic
custom exterior is complemented by a luxurious Caramel leather with
contrasting Navy Blue carpeting. This custom coupe received a
frame-off restoration and is powered by a Ford Racing 351ci
8-cylinder Windsor small-block engine paired to a Ford C6 automatic
transmission and has an Edelbrock hydraulic cam kit. The chassis
has been lowered and upgraded with power front disc brakes, and
power steering. It rides on ION 5-spoke aluminum wheels rolling on
General Tire HP-1 radial rubber and sports dual exhaust with bright
tips. Creature comforts include Vintage Air climate control,
GM-type 6-way tilt steering, leather-wrapped billet steering wheel,
power windows and an audio system with CD player with subwoofers.
Exterior treatments include rechroming, shaved door handles with
poppers and decking, as well as frenched-in headlights and
taillights. Both front and rear bumpers have also been smoothed and
rechromed.
