Vehicle Description
This 1945 Chevy truck is truly a one-off custom with a full
custom-engineered, pro-built chassis, 4-wheel cross-drilled and
slotted power disc brakes, RideTech triangulated 4-link rear
suspension and Mustang II front suspension with RideTech Shockwaves
on all four corners. Power is supplied by a 5.7-liter 8-cylinder
Corvette LT1 engine backed by a 4L60E automatic transmission and a
Ford 9-inch rear end with 3:80 gears. Exhaust is run through
ceramic-coated headers and 2.5-inch coated exhaust with stainless
tips. The Foose/MHT wheels are a 20x12 in the rear and a 19x9.5 up
front with Pirelli P-Zero tires on all four corners. The extensive
body modifications include a 3-inch chop, suicide doors and shaved
door handles with electric poppers. The bed has been shortened 5
inches and moved forward 1-1/2 inches, and the front rail has been
contoured to match the back of the cab. The rear fenders are 2
inches wider than stock and the smooth running boards were designed
to match. The front fenders were modified by welding and smoothing
all the seams, molding the headlights to the fenders and shaving
the parking lights. The body was then meticulously smoothed in
preparation for the Kodiak Brown paint. The bed floor was finished
with African Zebra hardwoods, then pinstriping and gold leafing
were added from the tailgate through the center of bed floor, the
console and finishing on top of the engine cover. The interior
consists of modified bucket seats with saddle leather upholstery,
color-matched seatbelts and German square-weave carpet. The custom
dash is fitted with Dakota Digital gauges and a custom console was
designed to house the RideTech control system, power window
switches and the Vintage Air controls. The truck has primarily been
shown regionally and has been driven just over 1,100 miles since
its completion. Awards include a pick for Goodguys Truck of the
year finalist in 2015, an Eagle One Award of Excellence in 2015 and
a Darryl Starbird Fine Nine Award in 2017. **SOLD ON BONDED TITLE**
