Vehicle Description
You know how much of an icon the Tri-Five Chevys are, but you can
already tell there's something extra special about this 1956
Chevrolet 210. With extra shine on the outside, extra comfort on
the custom leather-lined A/C inside, an upgraded suspension
underneath, and a powerful V8 under the hood paired with an
overdrive transmission, this one is a custom build with everything
you want.
The two-tone Tangelo Orange and Pearl White is exactly how you want
this classic to look. The extra luster is courtesy of premium House
of Kolor paints and a professional hand applying them. There was a
big investment all around the car as the result of a multi-year
frame-off restoration. We even have a binder full of receipts and
info showing over $70k invested in getting a car that looks this
good. The aim of the restoration was to have a sleeker machine, and
so they eliminated trim and expertly shaves the door handles. Of
course, on a Tri-Five Chevy, it would be sacrilegious to eliminate
all the brightwork. So there's a mirror-like appearance to the
wraparound chrome bumpers, special '56 grille, and the full-length
trim that separates the two-tone. And those polished Body
Coddington wheels with 17/18 inch front/rear stagger give this one
the ideal stance.
Inside is a custom interior that has the kind of freshness you
expect from a build with less than 3,200 miles on it. The two-tone
tan goes well with the exterior orange that returns on the dash and
the door tops. It's a full custom setup done in supple leather
upholstery, and the receipts show $10k invested in the interior
alone. Features like a cup holder center console and cold-blowing
air conditioning will make sure everyone loves to go for a ride.
But this one reserves some of the best treats just for you. There's
a grippy sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and that gives you
a clear view to the full upgraded gauge panel, including tach.
The engine bay may just win you awards all on its own. The exterior
Tangelo Orange gives a smooth look to the clean inner walls, and
there was so much invested in polished components that you'll
likely need your sunglasses. And when you look beyond the flash,
you'll see the substance of a 350 cubic-inch crate motor. It has
all the best features, like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor
w/electric choke, Edelbrock aluminum intake, and headers feeding a
MagnaFlow dual exhaust. It also has the right supporting pieces,
like a MSD 6AL ignition, March serpentine pulley system, and a
Griffin aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. This upgraded V8
feeds 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive on its
way to a 10-bolt Positraction rear end. As you look underneath,
you'll be impressed with the clean powder coated chassis that also
has custom reinforcements for added strength. There's also a Heidts
front suspension with tubular A-arms, four-link rear end, and
RideTech coilovers at every wheel. It's the kind of upgraded setup
that really lets this Chevy drive with confidence. Plus, you have
power steering grippy ZR-rated tires, CPP power braking, and front
discs with drilled & slotted rotors.
