1948 Ford F3 with a Manual 4 speed transmission, original flathead 6 engine. Newer spark plugs and plug wires. New rebuilt starter, rebuilt carburetor. Front tires are in good shape, rear tires need replacing.
Starts every time. Manual choke and starter button. All glass is good. Runs and drives great! Paint isn’t perfect. Bench Seat needs re-upholstered. Red Oak Bed Rails need refinishing. Underside has been completely sprayed with rustoleum anti rust spray.
This old truck started out as Wenatchee in Central Washington as an Orchard Truck. Truck was then purchased by an Alaska Bush Pilot and Barbecue aficionado that lived in Western Washington. He used the 48’ as a daily driver and as an advertising for his Armadillo Barbecue business in Mt Vernon.
What is obvious is that truck has been well maintained and taken care of inside and out and kept under cover.
This is a one of a kind solid truck, a head turner for sure…I hate to sell her, but I’m in a situation where I won’t be able to finish her out the way I want to. My loss is your gain.
Thank you for taking a look.
