Ford's dominance at the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans with the famous
1-2-3 finish is well known to the racing and automotive community.
With Ford's plans to return for the 50th anniversary of their 1966
achievement, another Ford racing legend was born. Returning in
2017, the all-new Ford GT was an aerodynamic marvel, bred from the
start as a racing car ready to return and dominate Le Mans. This
2017 Ford GT is finished in Shadow Black paint with stripe delete
over an Ebony and white leather interior with embossed Alcantara
inserts and headliner with carbon-fiber registers, door sills and
console. It is a one-owner supercar with 80 actual miles. It rides
on 20-inch Diamond Silver wheels with massive carbon-ceramic brakes
and red Brembo brake calipers with black graphics. The interior
features an F1-inspired steering wheel wrapped in Ebony leather
with an integrated LED rev indicator. Powering this GT is the 647hp
3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine, which is mated to a
7-speed Getrag dual-clutch automatic transmission. This GT is also
optioned with the titanium exhaust system, a $10,000 upgrade, and
the Re-Entry interior theme costing $25,000. The GT can launch to
60 mph in under 3 seconds and achieve a top speed of over 216 mph.
This GT includes a Jimglo purpose-built trailer that was designed
in collaboration with the Ford GT team for the best trailer
experience possible. Also included with the sale is an Autodromo
watch, sold exclusively to Ford GT owners. The watch is engraved
with the matching chassis number of this car and costs $11,500.
