Designed by Pininfarina and Jason Castriota, this 2010 Ferrari 599
GTB Fiorano is fitted with the Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione
(HGTE) package. The HGTE package lowers the car's ride height and
includes updates to the suspension with stiffer springs and a
thicker rear anti-roll bar, as well as new tuning calibrations for
the Delphi MagneRide magneto-rheological shocks. Additionally, the
package updates the 599's 6-speed F1 "SuperFast" automated manual
transmission with shift times coming at 85 milliseconds in race
mode. The 6.0-liter V12 engine produces 612hp at 7,600 rpm and 448
ft/lbs of torque at 5,600 rpm. The 599 can reach 60 mph in 3.3
seconds and cover the quarter-mile in 11.2 seconds at over 130 mph.
The HGTE package also provides carbon-ceramic brakes and special
5-spoke, 20-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero rubber. Further
additions include several carbon-fiber additions to the interior,
including a carbon-fiber-trimmed dashboard and new leather and
Alcantara embroidered seats. This car is finished in Grigio
Silverstone and has 3,748 actual miles. A select offering from a
private collection.
