Commissioned by Caroll Shelby, the CSX 4000 Continuation Series was
everything the legendary 427 Cobras are and more. This example was
built on the same line as CSX 3031, which was among the very few

Shelby American Las Vegas, this early car was the 21st Cobra sold
to the public. It's rolling chassis was completed April 23, 1997,
and its 428ci SCJ V8 engine was built by noted engine builder, Stan
Johnson of Ford Powertrain Pupallup, WA. The engine is equipped
with a fully balanced rotating assembly with resized LeMans rods,
aluminum Cobra Jet heads by Bliss, Blue Thunder aluminum intake
with correct Holley 780 carburetor with Turkey Baster, and sends
power through a Toploader 4-speed manual transmission with 3.54
Dana rear end. CSX4031 features correct Lucas wiring and lights,
Galaxie reversed shifter and black leather interior, Trigo chrome
knock-off wheels, chrome quick jacks and roll bar, remote filter,
correct 15-inch Shelby steering wheel, and a fiberglass body with
aluminum dress-up kit, including fender wells and trunk. This Cobra
was featured in two Xbox 360 games, Project Gotham Racing 4 and
Forza Motorsports 3. It's a two-owner car with all documentation
and receipts, including the original copy of the MSO signed by
Carroll Shelby. It's listed in the new Cobra Registry and the dash
