This no-expense-spared 1957 Corvette custom convertible took two
years to build. The body was stripped down to original fiberglass
and was completed by award-winning Joe Peck Customs of Van Nuys,
CA. It is powered by a 495hp fuel-injected 6.2-liter 8-cylinder LS3
hot cam engine paired to a 6-speed manual transmission and is
equipped with a March serpentine pulley kit, Heidts independent
rear suspension, independent front and inboard disc brakes. The
rear was channeled 3 inches and has an SS rear-mounted custom fuel
tank with filler located behind the license plate, with an SS
exhaust. The custom blue and white leather custom interior with a
white leather steering wheel, white 6-speed knob and wool carpet
complements the exterior seamlessly and was designed by
award-winning Albert Lara. This Corvette features power windows,
power brakes, power locks, key fob power hood release, air
conditioning, iPod port, custom-built gas tank, stainless-steel
exhaust and a new white top. A copy of a bound photo book of the
build is also included.
