Vehicle Description
This 1957 Coronado Yellow Chevrolet Nomad wagon is the recipient of
a no-expense-spared, frame-up restoration. The comprehensive
refurbishment touched every inch of this classic Chevrolet and was
executed to a high level of accuracy and correctness. An Antique
Automobile Club of America National First Prize Winner, the Nomad
also accumulated a perfect 1,000-point score at the 39th Eklers
Chevy Classic Club International Convention, garnering the coveted
Platinum Certificate. With quality factory features from bumper to
bumper, this Nomad has it all. Well-optioned from the factory, the
Chevrolet is equipped with the upgraded 283ci Power Pack V8 engine
that included a 4-barrel carburetor to increase horsepower.
Connected to the fabled Powerglide automatic transmission and
featuring a dual exhaust system, this Nomad was assembled with
performance in mind. Exterior sophistication is found with the
deluxe spinner hubcaps with wide whitewall tires. Additional
mechanical options from the factory include power brakes as well as
power steering. Inside is a two-tone cloth and vinyl bench seat
interior with full carpeting. An opulent option on the Nomad is the
air conditioning system to keep passengers comfortable on hot days.
The famous Chevrolet Wonder Bar push-button AM/FM radio and full
tinted glass are also present. The rear cargo compartment is
accessible via the lift-up rear window and drop-down tailgate and
is fully covered in factory vinyl flooring for durability. From the
Raser Collection.
