Vehicle Description
This 1967 Chevelle has undergone a no-expense-spared, professional
frame-off rotisserie restoration with attention to detail in every
aspect of the car. It's finished in Pearl Electric Blue over a
custom tan leather interior with suede inserts and adorned with
stainless-steel trim. Power comes from a modern, electronically
fuel-injected 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine mated to a TREMEC 6-speed
manual transmission with hydraulic clutch. Out back is a Ford
9-inch rear end with a Moser aluminum third member configured with
3.55 gears. The engine is cooled by a Griffin aluminum radiator
with electronic fans and breathes through an exhaust system
consisting of silver ceramic-coated headers routed through
stainless-steel pipes and stainless MagnaFlow mufflers. The
completely detailed undercarriage with powder-coated frame is
fitted with modern suspension upgrades, including a complete QA1
suspension package with tubular upper and lower A-arms, coilovers
at all four corners and a 4-link rear end. The bespoke interior
features a custom dashboard fitted with Dakota Digital
instrumentation and push-button start, a custom center console
housing a Pioneer touchscreen stereo, a leather headliner with
suede insert and polished stainless-steel tilt steering column.
Wilwood disc brakes provide ample stopping power and turning is
handled by a Flaming River power rack & pinion steering system.
Modern amenities include a Vintage Air heating and cooling system,
power windows and power door locks. Other features include
Ringbrothers hood hinges, Kindig-It door handles and LED
taillights. This Chevelle sits on Foose wheels wrapped in Michelin
tires. It was awarded Class Winner and Outstanding Interior Custom
at the 2019 Portland Roadster Show and includes a photo diary of
the build process.
