Vehicle Description
This 1961 Ford Galaxie Starliner is a one-of-a-kind fresh build. It
started as a rust-free car that underwent 5-year, 3,500-hour
rotisserie build. The build began with the frame being smoothed and
adding a 4-link 9-inch Ford rear end with Detroit Locker and 389
gears. The suspension was chromed and a full RideTech ProX air-ride
system was installed for comfortable ride and great stance. This
custom is powered by a 5.4-liter DOHC 32-valve modular engine that
was professionally built with blower cams and pistons. A 2.3-liter
Whipple supercharger was added to increase horsepower. Backing the
engine is a professionally built 4R70 automatic transmission
capable of handling 900hp. A set of 4-wheel Wilwood power
Hydro-Boost disc brakes with all stainless brake lines provides the
stopping power, and steering is handled by a power rack & pinion
setup. The bodywork started with no rust and original panels. It
was blocked to a laser-straight finish before it was painted in
Ford Grabber Blue. The interior is a one-off custom design with
custom power bucket seats, custom fiberglass center console,
600-watt stereo system, power windows, and Vintage Air heat and air
conditioning. This custom rides on one-off custom 20x10 rear and
19x8 front Intro wheels.
