Vehicle Description
This professionally built Woody has 1,000 miles since its
completion. It features an all-Ford steel body, fiberglass rear
fenders, birdseye maple woodwork and a mahogany leather interior.
The original chassis was sent to Bobby Alloway Hot Rods and was
smoothed and boxed. A tubular front suspension with disc brakes was
added, along with a tubular mid-frame and crossmembers with a
custom ladder bar rear suspension and billet adjustable coilover
shocks. A new Ford 302ci V8 crate engine was custom-painted with a
Hawaiian theme, and a hula girl was painted on the air cleaner. The
engine is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission with
overdrive. Additions include Vintage Air, billet machine-turned
dash, Ididit steering column and Painless wiring. The paint was
created using PPG single stage. Custom interior touches include a
period-correct Coca-Cola cooler that houses the battery and a
custom teak pattern padded floor with a laser-engraved hula girl.
The bottom of the car is as nice as the top.
