For Sale at Auction: 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle in Scottsdale, Arizona

This Chevelle convertible was the beneficiary of a body-off rotisserie restoration and is powered by a new Chevrolet Performance LSX 454ci V8 crate engine that produces 627hp. The engine is mated to a TREMEC T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission with a Hurst long shifter, Currie 9-inch axle and 3.90 gears. It rides on an F41 sport suspension augmented with modern control arms and finished in contrasting paint. A polished master cylinder joins a body-matched brake booster to power Wilwood 4- and 6-piston calipers around drilled and slotted discs. Under the body-matched floors, a custom exhaust system flows through electric Granatelli cutouts and turbo mufflers. The exterior is solid sheet metal with a Tuxedo Black finish and matching black interior. The cabin features TMI matching front and rear seats, a billet steering wheel, monochromatic dash with Dakota Digital HDX telemetry, direct-fit audio components, Vintage Air and a custom-upholstered trunk. Kenwood Kicker speakers with custom side panels are installed on the sides of the dash. This Chevelle rides on Ridler 645 wheels wrapped in AR red line tires. From the Larry Winkler Collection.
