This 1955 Chevrolet Nomad received a full nut-and-bolt restoration
and has been thoroughly customized inside and out. Power comes from
a Chevrolet Performance Anniversary Edition aluminum ZL1 427ci V8
engine. The all-aluminum engine powering this Nomad is #207 of 427
built and produces an estimated 480hp on 92 octane. The 427 is kept
cool via a polished aluminum radiator and the V8 thunders through a
set of dual Flowmaster exhausts. Drive is sent to the rear wheels
via a TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission, and the Nomad features
massive Wilwood brakes for stopping power as well as upgraded
Heidts chassis and suspension. The cabin features a fully custom
gray interior with red stitching and the driver is kept informed
thanks to a set of custom gauges. From the Larry Winkler
Collection.
