This 1942 Chrysler New Yorker coupe underwent a professional
two-year, frame-off, nut-and-bolt, no-expense-spared restoration
and custom build. It is powered by a 392ci Chrysler HEMI V8 engine
fitted with Hilborn electronic fuel injection and trimmed out with
an aluminum air cleaner and valve covers. It has a 727 3-speed
automatic transmission turning a powder-coated Ford 9-inch rear
end. This custom coupe includes a custom belt system with air
conditioning and power steering pump. It sits on a custom front
suspension with stainless coilovers, power rack & pinion steering
and 14-inch Baer brakes at all four corners. It's finished in
two-tone red and silver paint and rides on custom wheels. The frame
is powder-coated silver, and the underside is painted gloss body
color for a show-car look. The interior is custom leather with
power windows, tilt steering wheel, air conditioning, cruise
