One of 1,632 produced over a 3-year period from 1987-89 for the
American market, this rust-free M6 has matching numbers, original
red paint and a cream interior. The engine BMW chose for the M6 is
a modified version of the famous M1 supercar. At the time this M6
was the fastest car BMW ever built next to the M1, with a top speed
of 158 mph. The 3.5-liter 6-cylinder engine is backed by a Getrag
5-speed manual transmission. Options include leather, sunroof,
power windows, power mirrors, power locks and air conditioning.
This M6 rides on BBS wheels with new high-performance radial tires
and includes the original Passport radar detector. This M6 has
always been garage-kept and well cared for.
