Vehicle Description
Born from some of General Motors' greatest designers, the 1963
Corvette Split-Window is an icon. Both the chassis and body were
brand-new designs over the preceding model. For the first time in
the Corvette's 10-year history a coupe body was available, and the
chassis incorporated independent rear suspension with a multi-leaf
transverse leaf spring. This unrestored 1963 Corvette is powered by
a 327/340hp V8 engine mated to a 4-speed synchromesh manual
transmission. Finished in Ermine White, this 'Vette also features a
posi-traction rear end, and runs and drives well. From the Larry
Winkler Collection.
