This custom 1937 Chevy 5-window Gasser wears an authentic all-steel
'37 body finished in Hugger Orange paint. It's powered by a 454ci
8-cylinder big-block Chevy engine upgraded with a COMP cam, 049 BB
heads, Bowtie intake, Holley carburetor, MSD ignition and a 6-AL
box. The engine is paired with a Muncie M21 4-speed manual
transmission with a Hurst shifter and scatter shield. Up front is a
'40 Ford straight axle front end with disc brakes hooked to 15-inch
10-spoke ET wheels, while the rear is outfitted with a 9-inch Ford
rear end, 3.50 gearing, custom-fabricated shackled ladder bars and
birdcaged axles for a no-bind rear end, as well as 9-inch Shelby
Cal 500 wheels with 10-inch pie crust street slicks.
