This 1982 Toyota HiLux 4x4 short-bed truck was bought new in
Arizona by the first owner and was sold one year later to the
second owner, who has owned it ever since. In the last two years
the truck received a rebuilt Chevrolet 4.3-liter TBI fuel-injected
6-cylinder engine mated to a 700R4 automatic transmission and
transfer case, both of which were professionally rebuilt. Also new
in the last two years are the belts, hoses, power steering lines,
water pump, oil pump, alternator, battery, radiator, fan, Sanden
air conditioning compressor, condenser, dryer and starter. The air
conditioning is not currently working. The truck also received a
new rear driveshaft, which was fitted with chromoly axle shafts,
locker and 4.10 gears. The front axle was rebuilt as well, with
all-new bearings and seals. This pickup was repainted in 2004 and
is fitted with a 22-gallon fuel tank. It is an accident-free,
professionally built, adult-owned and garage-kept truck that runs
and drives well. CARFAX shows Exceeds Mechanical Limits titles
issued on 06/01/1994 and 10/26/2007.
