Vehicle Description
2014 Pagani Huayra Tempesta
Offered for sale by K2 Motorcars is this stunning 2014 Pagani
Huayra Tempesta finished in a beautiful deep Silver paint over a
Black Leather interior with silver contrast stitching as well as
contrasting dark carbon fiber aerodynamic flaps on its nose and
tail.
The 78th of only 100 examples ever built, this Huayra was delivered
new to its first owner in San Francisco and now resides in Florida,
having traveled only 64 miles under its new ownership. The car has
been driven just 5,007 miles, during which time it was regularly
and properly maintained to ensure its exemplary running and driving
condition. Included with the sale are a car cover and battery
tender, as well as its original keys and owner's manuals.
This Pagani Huayra also benefits from having the Tempesta Package
upgrade having been installed in 2018 by the second owner. Pagani
offered the Tempesta package to existing Huayra owners to further
upgrade the performance of their car. At a cost of more than $220k,
the upgrade package addressed the car's aerodynamics and helped
shed weight. This included fitting a completely new underbody,
along with a new front splitter and rear diffuser, which increases
overall downforce. To compensate for this, new four-way adjustable
Ohlins shock absorbers were fitted as well. Furthermore, new
wheels, 20 in. at the front and 21 at the rear, were installed.
Forged from aeronautic-grade aluminum alloy, these wheels offered a
reduction of weight by 1.1 kg for the front wheels and 2.5 kg for
the back wheels while retaining the same structural integrity as
the originals. Finally, the Tempesta package included a new exhaust
system made completely of titanium, weighing just 7 kg, 3 kg
lighter than the standard unit, and enhancing the overall engine
sound.
In the 21st-century hypercar world, the Huayra stands amongst some
of the most desirable cars produced today. It is an exceptional
accomplishment for Pagani, a company that is younger than many of
its clients. The Huayra proved to the world that Pagani had more
than one trick up its sleeve and that, unlike many other upstart
supercar companies, it is here to stay. With a dedicated base of
clients and many more fans around the world, few enthusiasts can
claim ownership to a Pagani, and the purchase of this Huayra would
allow them into a small circle of enthusiasts bound together by
Horacio Pagani's vision for uniting art and science as one.
Allegedly the last Pagani to feature the unique gull-wing door
configuration as per company representatives, the Huayra will be
fondly celebrated for years to come. With a production run of only
100 coupes (between 30-40 in the U.S.), this remains far rarer than
its mainstream competition, the LaFerrari, Porsche 918 Spyder, and
McLaren P1.
