The compact Ford Falcon was the basis for the first Mustang and
this two-owner 1963 Falcon Futura comes to us directly from that
timeframe. The odometer reads just under 83,000 miles and although
we have no proof this may well be the Falcon's actual mileage. It
is a true survivor and the recipient of a 1985 respray of factory
Rangoon Red that is in very good condition. The all-original
interior presents as virtually new - every detail is correct right
down to the working AM radio. Look at the photos. The power train
is Ford's bulletproof 'Mileage Maker' 170ci U-code straight-six.
Our owner stated that it has never required a rebuild and is backed
by the optional 2-speed Ford-O-Matic transmission. Factory steel
wheels mount 13" BFGoodrich bias-ply whitewall tires and full
Futura hubcaps. If you want a unique Blue Oval, come take a good
look at this beautiful example of an early Falco survivor - you
will not be disappointed. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
