This 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 has a terrific color combo inside and
out. Plus, with everything from an upgraded stereo to a growling
V8, you have the look and sound you want from an aggressive pony
car like this.
The white paint gets this noticed. After all, it's a timelessly
attractive color, especially when this upgraded paint has a vibrant
finish. And it's a tasteful choice that provides the best contrast
to all the aggressive Mach 1 pieces presented in black. It starts
with the NACA duct ram air hood that really brings attention to the
well-coordinated blackout. This darkness continues on the large
front splitter, dark grille, rear spoiler, and the Mach 1's famous
hockey stripe package. This one even takes the sporty style up a
notch with custom details, like the large hood scoop and those
polished Cragar SS wheels.
The color theme switches on the inside where you have a full black
interior, and the white returns as an accent on the high-back
bucket seats. These later first-gen cars were built with added
comfort in mind, especially the premium Mach 1. So you have factory
features like the center console w/armrest, wood-like trim, and
even provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing to
blow cold again.) And because they also wanted to make sure this is
a comfortable classic for modern times, you also have worthwhile
upgrades like an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo and an upgraded subwoofer
speaker system.
Under this hood is Ford's mighty 351 cubic-inch V8. It's the
correct displacement for this H-code coupe, but you can also see it
has been given a solid investment in power. It has an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, MSD ignition, and a set
of long tube headers that add power and rumble to the dual exhaust.
Plus, with power steering, power brakes, front discs, and wide
Cooper Cobra tires, this is a pony car that's built to gallop.
There are even traction bars in the rear.
Complete with owner's manual, you're looking for a final-year
first-gen Mustang car that has the style and power you really want
in a Mach 1. Call now!
