One of the most influential automobiles of all time is the Model T.
Built from 1908 through 1927, 15 million cars were produced. 1914
was a big year for Ford Motor Company as out of all the cars in the
world , 50 percent of them were Fords. Henry had also streamlined
the production process down to only 93 minutes to assemble a car.
The next vehicle to surpass the volume and success of the T was the
Volkswagen Beetle in 1972. The price of a brand new Model T was
only $260, making it very affordable to the average working middle
class.
The 1923 Model T C Cab offered here is in excellent condition both
cosmetically and mechanically. We just couldn't resist and took the
T on a test drive and found that it was one of the "peppiest" T's
we have ever driven. It held the road well and fired right to life.
It has been converted to 12 volts and has a distributor and
alternator set up. The car was built by an older enthusiast out of
Detroit and was used for touring and local shows. It rides on 4 ply
4.5/4.75 21 inch tires on 21 inch wire wheels. The truck also has a
super cool custom tonneau cover. The man that built the T was also
a cabinet maker by trade, and as you can see his wood working
skills are exceptional. Don't miss your opportunity to own this
piece of history.
