It was decided to convert to European chrome bumpers, perform a complete brake and suspension service to as new condition, the addition of a Harvey Bailey handling kit and 16” Ronal type wheels. It was then driven occasionally over the Summer season.
Recently, the Volante was returned to Autosport Designs Inc. for further upgrading to include a complete interior retrim to include PoW type center console with cubby box, PoW Nardi wood steering wheel, and a PoW specification front spoiler. Mechanically, the engine has been upgraded to big bore 6.3 liter X-pack specification to include factory big bore European airbox and stainless steel exhaust system. Dyno tuned, it now produces 485 bhp with 510 ft/lbs of torque at 4000 rpm quite a bit more that your standard V8 Vantage specifications.
