Vehicle Description
This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sedan Custom has that classic
Chevy look with the feel of a customized restomod. Originally, the
Chevy Bel Air was the top-of-the-line of Chevrolet's offerings
during the 1955 model year, above the 150 and the 210; however,
this Bel Air has been upgraded in nearly every respect. Under the
hood on this Texas car you'll find a recently rebuilt 355 Cubic
Inch Chevrolet V8 (i.e. a 350 bored 30) with roughly 600 miles on
it. During the engine rebuild, the pistons, rings, rod bearings,
main bearings, cam, cam bearings, oil pump, water pump, fuel pump,
headers and more were all replaced. With an Edelbrock aluminum
intake and Edelbrock 650 Single 4 Barrel Carburetor, this heavily
upgraded motor has plenty of power. Anybody can easily drive this
'55 Chevy because it sports a Turbo 350 Automatic Transmission as
well as Power Steering and Power Front Disc Brakes. From the power
brake booster to the new hood springs and valve covers, the
recently detailed engine compartment has a great chromed look to
it. The exterior of this 1955 Belair 2 Door Sedan is finished in
two-tone Bright Red and White Paint, which is in very nice shape.
The exterior chrome and brightwork is in excellent shape. This
Custom Chevrolet sits on 4 radial tires on Billet Specialties
aftermarket rims. The white and red vinyl bench seat interior is
also in excellent shape and has been tastefully customized. The
upgraded dash panel and instrument cluster are in nice shape and
fit well with the look of the car. The headliner and carpet, as
well as the door and window seals have all been replaced and are in
very good shape. The steering wheel has been upgraded to a more
customized look and the chrome tilt steering column adds to the
custom interior look. A Sony aftermarket entertainment system
allows you to listen to all of your tunes while cruising in style.
Perhaps the most significant upgrade on this classic Chevy is that
it features a vintage air conditioning system, so that you can stay
cool on the hottest summer days. If you're looking for a customized
cruiser with a great look and all of the most desirable options,
we've got a perfect car for you in this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air
Custom 2 Door Sedan!
