This 1963 Ford F-250 was purchased new for use around the family
farm. Power is provided by a 292ci V8 paired with a three-speed
manual transmission, and a refurbishment performed in 2019 by the
seller included a bare-metal repaint in blue and white as well as
new blue cloth interior upholstery. The truck also received sound
deadening under the hood and inside the cab, replacement weather
stripping and emblems, new braking and suspension components, and
more. A matching spray-in bed liner was added during the paintwork.
Two 20-gallon auxiliary fuel tanks were added when the truck was
new, and the fuel fillers are located just ahead of the wheel
wells.
The refurbishment is said to have occurred from August 2019 through
January 2020, during which the exterior was refinished in two-tone
blue and white with white bumpers, and replacement weather
stripping, emblems, mirrors, and door handles were also fitted.
The blue and white exterior is carried over to the interior, which
features a replacement bench upholstered in blue cloth, replacement
seat. The window channels and felt scrapers have also been
replaced. A previous air conditioning system has been removed but
is included in with the vehicle!
A white three-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer
with integrated gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The
five-digit odometer shows just under 55k miles. The Y-Block 292ci
V8 is paired with a three-speed manual transmission sending power
to the rear wheels. A new carburetor was fitted in February 2020,
and an engine oil change was also performed.
