Vehicle Description
This beautiful 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS convertible was
refurbished approximately 15 years ago with a repaint in Cypress
Green, new black vinyl upholstery, a rebuild of its four-speed
manual transmission, and more. Power is from a 327ci V8, and the
car is equipped with a power-operated convertible top and windows,
assisted steering and brakes, and a set of 15? Rev alloy wheels.
The SS trim includes the wheel arch moldings, bumper guards, and
rear quarter badging that are all believed to be original to the
car when it rolled off the assembly line.
The cabin features front bucket seats that have been reupholstered
in black vinyl with a matching dash pad and carpets. Amenities
include a factory AM radio and speaker, power windows, padded dash,
and Deluxe seat belts and a center console, which features a
refurbished clock. A wood-rimmed steering wheel is mounted to a
rebuilt tilt column and frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer,
and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, amperage, and oil
pressure. The five-digit odometer shows just under 24k miles.
The 327ci V8 is stamped F1112EC and reportedly equipped with a
Crane camshaft as well as a Holley carburetor and factory exhaust
manifolds. Under hood details include a dual-snorkel air cleaner
and a period-style Delco battery. Power is sent to the rear wheels
from a four-speed manual transmission that is said to have been
rebuilt and fitted with a new clutch. The rear axle wears code is
CV0322B.
