Vehicle Description
1959 saw the most radical engineering and styling changes for
Chevrolet and GMC light-duty pickups since General Motors-branded
trucks were introduced to the public early in the 20th century. The
1960 model year brought the arrival of the Chevy C10 series trucks,
succeeding the 1955-59 Chevy Task Force series trucks. With the
introduction of 1960s styling, Chevy C10 trucks were the first
Chevy and GMC pickups equipped with independent front suspension as
well as numerous other upgrades. These General Motors trucks were
considered the first generation which was produced from 1960 to
1966.
This 1966 Chevrolet C10 with a chopped roof and suicide doors has
been transformed into a full custom pickup that resembles what the
General Motors designers originally sketched on their drafting
boards, but even better!
Along with the exterior modification this truck now features a
Corvette interior with bucket seats and center console, Autometer
gauge package and B&M floor shifter.
Performance is provided by a ground pounding 454 cubic inch fuel
injected motor.
