VERY RARE PRODUCTION, TOTAL 65 BUILT, AND 14 IN BLACK, AND ONLY 6 WITH BLACK INTERIOR

ASC Corporation Built The McLaren Convertible Based On The Mustang LX Chassis From 1987 To 1990. The Mustangs Were Purchased From Ford And Came With all Available Options Including The High Output 5.0 Liter Engine And Traction Lock Differential. ASC Then Removed And Re-painted The Cars With A Higher Grade Sikkens Paint And Added Unique Ground Effects, 15x7 Wheels, Rear Deck Lid Spoiler, And Lowered The Rake Of The Windshield. Except For The Dash, The Interior Was Completely Changed And The Back Seat Was Removed. A Cambria Cloth Convertible Top Was Used Instead Of The Original Ford Top. The New Cloth Convertible Top Could Be Folded Flush Under The Tonneau Cover.

Total Production From 1987 Through 1990 Was 1,791 Cars. Total 1990 Production Was 65 Cars. This Car Is Powered By The High Output 302 Cubic-Inch V8 Engine Mated To An Optional 4-Speed Automatic With Overdrive. It Has A Custom Two-Tone Gray Interior With Special Edition Sports Seats. Options Include A Whistler Remote Radar Detector And Keyless Entry System.

Of The Rare Production Of 65 Cars, ONLY 14 Cars Were Painted In BLACK, And Only 6 Were Built With Black Interior, As Per McLaren Data....
