Confused? The Camaro and Firebird share the same platform. This is
a Firebird that was given Camaro sheet metal. It underwent a body
off frame, custom restoration. Loaded up with the goodies people
want.
EXTERIOR: Wrapped with new Camaro sheet metal, it also has a cowl
hood, sport mirrors and spoilers. It's straight and the panels are
aligned real well. Doors open and close with ease. There's no rust
or damage, it is smooth everywhere. Nice paint finish, the metal
flake is laid out nicely, the clear coat is glossy. There are some
touch ups. Jambs are nice, weatherstrips were replaced. Custom tail
end- it has a 3 piece dovetail spoiler, unique LED taillights and
custom reverse lights. Up front is a custom mesh grille, it looks
like all the trim and bumper is new. All the stainless moldings
around the windows, on the rockers and on top the doors are new.
New door handles. It has a great stance sitting on 18 inch Special
Edition American Racing wheels that are color matched to the car.
The performance tires, wider in back, still have nubs on the
tread.
INTERIOR: Completely custom inside. It has leather upholstery.
Driver side is power, passenger's recline. The console is from a
2010 Camaro, it has a cup holder, power window and lock controls.
There's a Hurst 4-speed shifter sticking out of it. The instrument
panel is completely custom with a set of white faced gauges. It has
an updated stereo and a custom steering wheel. Overhead the
headliner and visors look new, it has LED dome light. New deluxe
door panels and custom rear speaker shelf.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 454 has square port heads, polished
aluminum intake with a big 850 Holley carb and a fat set of
stainless headers. It also has premium fuel lines and fittings,
tall set of aluminium valve covers, billet pulleys and chrome
alternator. Upgraded with a hydro boost power brake and steering
system. It has a polished master cylinder and stainless steel
braided lines. An aluminium radiator with a clutch fan keeps it
running cool. The engine bay s painted the same color as the car,
the fire wall was smoothed out.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: All clean dry metal. Bottom of the trunk lid and
jamb are painted silver. The weather strip is new. Looks like
there's a car cover included, bonus!
UNDERSIDE: The subframe was removed from the body. The front
steering and suspension is all completely replaced, it is upgraded
with tubular control arms and a heavy duty sway bar. In back it has
new springs, polyurethane bushings and shocks. Custom exhaust
system with fat pipes, stainless Borla mufflers and premium clamps.
New fuel system including tank, lines, sending unit, straps and an
electric fuel pump. Bottom of the motor is clean, has high torque
starter. The 4-speed is a Saginaw with a 10.5 inch clutch. The
driveshaft and u-joints look fresh. In back it has a 10 bolt rear
with 3.36 gears and a chrome cover. Upgraded 2004 Corvette brakes
with drilled and slotted discs at all 4 wheels, it has Corvetteon
the frontcalipers. It stops on a dime. The metal under the car is
clean, so clean they painted it gloss black.
This is a great car with a lot to offer at a great price! A custom
Camaro with a big block and a 4-speed that was frame off restored
would be $15,000. This is the same car!
