1966 CHEVELLE HOT-ROD RESTO-MOD
This new arrival is one cool ride. Originally built for the wife of
a local cruiser who never got around to finishing it and figured he
never would so he decided to sell it and buy her a new kitchen
instead. Hey, I get it ! Happy Wife - Happy Life !!
The body and paint are very nice and looks to have been
professionally done. It is very straight, solid & clean including
the floors, trunk & frame and the two tone Black over Silver
base/clear paint is very nice. We buffed it to a deep luster and
show car shine. Most of the chrome, trim & weather stripping were
replaced and look new too. The black bucket seat interior is in
really nice condition including the dash cluster which was custom
made with Veneer wood and black face Stewart Warner gauges. Pretty
Cool !! It is powered by a strong running & rowdy sounding 355c.i.
smallblock that was pro-built with all good internals. It is backed
by a crisp shifting TH-350 automatic transmission and 10 bolt posi
rear with 3:08 cruising street gears.
Other features include cold Vintage air conditioning, 4 wheel power
disc brakes with drilled rotors and hydro-boost, power steering
with tilt wheel,18"polished Torq-Thrust II wheels, custom dual
exhaust as well as all new steering, suspension and more.
This Chevelle was very well built. It runs and drives surprisingly
strong and tight and has a very cool "Old Skool" Hot Rod look with
lots of modern features and upgrades. We have a scrap book full of
pictures and receipts that show and prove it's build. DON'T MISS IT
