classic with this 1948 Chevrolet Thrift master. This is hands down
the coolest truck and we have ever had in our inventory. Everywhere
you look, you'll be amazed by this blast from the past. This truck
is an absolute original beauty, both inside and out. Believed to be
the original engine, this classic beast has a 235 straight six and
runs and drives excellent. The original body is in amazing shape,
with no major dents or dings and no rust found. The paint is 100%
original and has not been touched. The patina gives this truck a
truly unique look. We gave it a fresh coat of clear to help
preserve its' beauty. We removed the old diamond plate bed and
beneath it, the original wood bed had been left untouched. Original
steel wheels look great with white wall tires. A small can mounted
on the passenger side of the bed is something we did not know
existed. After some research, we found that it is what is known as
a flare canister. The canister is still filled with kerosene and
will work as it is supposed to. A super cool feature we have never
seen before. The hood ornament is original and completely intact.
If you know these trucks, you know the hood ornaments are nearly
impossible to find unbroken. The interior of the cab is a work of
art. The light blue door panels and dash, with classic gauges
really give this truck a look that can't be beat. Throw in a
freshly upholstered bench seat and you are ready to ride. It even
has the original floor starter. If you are a fan of classic trucks,
this one really is just about as cool and as classic as they get.
The originality and beauty of this particular truck is just
amazing. This one is definitely worthy of a spot in a museum. Make
