Vehicle Description
1937 Chevrolet Master Deluxe Custom Sedan
If the year was 1937 and you wanted the top of the line Chevy
available for the time your sights would have been set on the
Master Deluxe. They were created to replace the Chevrolet Eagle in
1933 and their appearance gradually changed as you moved through
the 30s and into the 40s. While remnants of its full fendered early
30s ancestors are there the fenders were becoming more rounded and
a focus on interior space and luxury was now a greater factor.
These cars have a really neat look and this Sedan has been built up
to be a nice little driver as well. The steel body is in good shape
and coated in a bright Red paint. Custom pinstriping accentuates
all the body lines with larger designs in spots like the rear doors
and deck lid. These cars had lots of windows and all of the glass
on this thing is in good shape. It is nicely tinted and inside of
the back window is a LED 3rd brake light. It is not shown in our
pictures but the headlights were recently modified with chrome trim
rings and LED headlights. All of the chrome work has a very clean
finish and it is still wearing its front/rear bumpers which is nice
to see because they often end up missing on cars done in the Street
Rod style. The car sits on nicely polished out American Racing
Torque Thrust wheels wrapped with P225/75R15 tires in rear and
165/80R15 tires up front.
The mechanics in the car has been entirely redone with a modern
350/350 drivetrain. Pop open the 4 piece hood and you will see the
engine compartment is nicely dressed up with a painted to match
firewall, chrome valve covers and an Edelbrock air cleaner. It has
no heating issues thanks to the aftermarket Aluminum radiator and
electric fan. The car runs great and delivers a great sound through
dual exhaust with turbo mufflers. The transmission shifts smoothly
and transfers power back to the 10 bolt rear end. Up front the car
has a Camaro front clip and the shocks in back were redone with
adjustable air shocks. Along with the front clip the car got disc
brakes in front and all are power assisted. It also has power
steering so you can cruise both in style and comfortably.
The interior has been redone in a combination of Ivory leather and
Gray tweed. It has a split bench seat with armrest up front and a
bench seat in the back. All of the window cranks and door handles
are aftermarket pieces which are nicely mounted in place. The dash
is covered in Gray tweed with a nice polished glove box door and
billet bezel for the Black faced AutoMeter gauges. In front of the
driver sits a Black tilt column topped off by a Grant GT steering
wheel. Under the dash is mounted a Pioneer AM/FM/CD player and the
AC/Heat controls. The trunk is nicely carpeted and houses a spare
and fire extinguisher. A shelf section was also made to give you a
good place to store all your car show gear.
This 37 is a unique street rod that is being offered up a very
competitive price. It has a lot of nicely done features and was
made to run great and look good doing it!
This cool classic could be yours for $33,500.00!
